Fishing at Playa del Socorro

Playa del Socorro is located on the route whales take on their trip back to Alaska. They travel as close as one mile from the beach by your home and some of them stay a couple of weeks with their calves, just outside your window at Playa del Socorro.

“The experience was every bit as amazing as people had said. "

“I asked the boys to count how many whales they saw. In the first half-hour, Scott saw 16 and Zack counted 30. My own count was 36.”

“None of us touched a whale that day. But they touched us. And I can’t wait to go back to try again.”
